St. Paul's Wort Herb Whole (Siegesbeckia orientalis) is the dried aerial part of the plant, traditionally known in Traditional Chinese Medicine as Xi Xian Cao (豨莶草). This herb has been widely used across Asia for its reputed ability to dispel wind-dampness, open the channels and collaterals, and reduce inflammation and swelling, particularly in cases involving joint discomfort or restricted movement.

In herbal traditions, Xi Xian Cao is valued for supporting musculoskeletal health, especially for conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, joint stiffness, or muscle aches often aggravated by cold or damp weather. It is also used in herbal decoctions or compresses aimed at addressing numbness, hemiplegia following stroke, or skin eruptions due to heat toxins.

The herb may also have a role in promoting mental clarity and mood balance, as it has been used in some folk remedies for calming the spirit and supporting overall vitality in times of stress or nervous tension.

Each batch of St. Paul's Wort Herb Whole is carefully dried and cut for easy use in teas, decoctions, or topical applications. Its slightly bitter taste and cooling nature make it suitable for combining with other herbs in formulas targeting wind-damp obstruction, heat in the blood, or neurological recovery. As always, internal use should be guided by an experienced herbalist to ensure safety and compatibility.
