Ginger root is well-known for its ability to soothe digestive discomfort and reduce nausea. A homemade ginger tincture is easy to make and highly effective.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chopped fresh ginger root
  • 2 cups high-proof alcohol (vodka)

Instructions:

  1. Add the chopped ginger to a glass jar.
  2. Pour alcohol over it, ensuring the ginger is fully submerged.
  3. Seal and label the jar with the date.
  4. Store in a cool, dark place, shaking daily for 4-6 weeks.
  5. Strain the liquid into a glass dropper bottle.

Use: Take 20-30 drops before meals to aid digestion or when experiencing nausea. This tincture can last up to a year in a dark place.
