How to Make a St. John’s Wort Tincture for Mood Support

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup dried St. John’s Wort flowers
  • 2 cups high-proof alcohol (vodka)

Instructions:

  1. Place the dried flowers in a glass jar.
  2. Cover with alcohol, leaving a little room at the top.
  3. Seal and label the jar with the date and herb.
  4. Let it sit in a dark, cool place for 4-6 weeks, shaking daily.
  5. Strain into a dark glass bottle.

Use: Take 20-30 drops up to three times a day for mood support. This tincture is best stored in a cool, dark place and lasts up to a year.
